“Hearts Week” w/ Stampin’ Up!®

Hi Friends,

This week I am kicking off a week full of heart/love inspiration. I will have posts Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so don’t forget to check back.

This card above is using Stampin’ Up!’s® stunning Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit Dies as its main focal point. The large heart was cut from Whisper white card stock and then using sponges I inked the heart using the following ink pads; Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Rose Red, and Real Red. From the Flirty Flamingo then smaller hearts were cut and then attached with a glue dot and pearls added to their centers. Super easy in yet so striking, Other Stampin’ Up!® products used are Petal Passion DSP, The Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set in Photo Polymer so that I could curve the sentiment to shape perfectly inside the Duet Banner Punch. Card stock color is Real Red.

During the months of January, February, and March Stampin’ Up!® has their largest promotion of the year. Your orders earn you FREE PRODUCTS at the $50 and $100 levels. There is no limit to the number of products earned. In this second card I used the STUNNING Heartfelt Blooms stamp set to easily stamped this breathtaking floral card. The depth you get with this stamp is amazing and I look forward to seeing Stampin’ Up!® bring out more like this. The sentiment also came from this same stamp set. The double heart was created using two of Stampin’ Up!’s®  Sweet & Sassy Heart Framelits. I lined them up and used the Big Shot Magnetic Platform in my big shot to create this heart. Later this week I will show this idea stepped up a little. Lastly some added gemstones just to add a little bling! To see ALL the Freebie Products simply click HERE.

Happy Stampin’

Stampin’ UP!® Blends Markers are HERE!

Welcome my friends,

This is my very first post to my Exclusive Stampin’ UP!® blog. I have been slowly working on this blog design for a while. A lot of you may have seen my posts over at www.fairystampland.com and may be wondering why I am starting another blog? I want to separate my design team work with non Stampin’ Up!® companies from my Stampin Up!® work. I love both but I think it gets a little confusing for the reader. So www.melaniestamps.com will be 100% Stampin’ Up!® projects, promotions, and stamping fun.

A lot of you may be joining me from my other blog where I have mostly shared my work using Copic Marker Coloring. So it excites me to no end to begin this blog introducing you to the NEW Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers.

Stampin’ Up!® has just released the first collection of markers. We have 13 color families plus the color lifter. It is recommended that you use Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White Card Stock when coloring with these blendable markers. Here is a video brought to you by Stampin’ Up!®
