Hello My Friends,
This week we are having fun with the Winter Woods Bundle by Stampin’ Up! This bundle’s possibilities are endless. I have made numerous samples and I still want to keep playing. The ideas just flow. It is a stamp & dies set you will reach for over and over again.
This first sample is a Clean and Simple (CAS) card. A small strip of Designer Series Paper, Some solid card stocks and some quick stamping.
This card was designed by Hattie Walker Nelson
This next sample was so much fun to design. For the background I used Stampin’ Blends in Night Of Navy. My goal was the create a gradient dark nights sky. I really wanted the snow and tree to pop right off the card.
The tree is stamped twice. Once with Mossy Meadow and then again in Garden Green. The Mossy Meadow was die cut using the framelit and the Garden green was die cut using the detailed die. This die is a bit smaller and has a lot of wonderful detail. If you look below you can see that the top layer. The detailed die cuts little slits in the tree so you can roll those areas up. I added some Glimmer Paint on the branches to look like snow. It really makes a statement!
This last sample was made using the Softly Falling embossing folder with Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the trees with Early Espresso ink and then die cut them using the Layering Circle Dies. The sentiment was created by performing some stamp surgery before actually stamping in Cherry Cobbler Ink. The punch used came from the Darling Label Punch Box. The trims used were 1/2″ Lace Trim along with some 5/8″ Striped Burlap Trim. See product lists that follow each project for a list of all supplies.
