Hold On To Hope ~ Happy Birthday to My Husband!!!

Welcome Back Stampers!!!

This week we will be focusing on the stunning Million Dollar set designed by Brandy Cox. I think this is probably my Favorite set in the Spring Occasions Catalog. It is called “Hold On To Hope”

My husband and I have been through so much over the years (25th Wedding Anniversary will be May 19, 2018) and today is his BIRTHDAY! So Happy Birthday to my husband. We live on faith now so celebrating your day with God in our marriage is super precious to me.

Randy, You are my favorite Remarkable Creation. Thank you for sharing your life with God and me. I love you baby!

This beautiful bundle has an amazing coordinating set of dies along with some beautiful sentiments. The design possibilities are endless. For this card I chose to use the Wood Textures Paper Stack because I wanted this to be a masculine card. For the sentiments I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Then used two of the dies from the bundle and a small heart gold enamel heart in the center of the cross. Isn’t the top layer stunning?

Thank you for stopping by today. I will have a Clean & Simple card design to share on Wednesday followed by a stepped up card on Friday. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

MUST SEE!!! Blossoming Basket Bundle ~ Free w/ $100 purchase

Welcome Back! I hope you have enjoyed this week focusing on my favorite SAB FREE STAMPS! This, by far, is my favorite pick from this years FREE Sale A Bration items. This is the Blossoming Basket Bundle which is FREE with a $100 purchase from any of our catalogs. It includes this beautiful basket stampo set along with a basket weave embossing folder. If submitting an order online of $150 or less feel free to use March’s hostess  code FCNV6MBW.

Here is the BUNDLE you can get FREE with a $100 purchase by the end of March 2018

Blossoming Basket Clear-Mount Bundle

and here are some samples made by Stampin’ Up!® showing off this STUNNING set!

This first card that I designed is a simple card featuring the basket floral stamp from this FREE bundle. Using it this way is so classy as well as super easy.

To jazz it up a little I have embossed the card base with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Texture Embossing folder and added a few Rhinestone Basic Gems.

Oh where do I begin? This is an all time favorite card of mine. Beginning with the base card simply run the front of the card base through the Big Shot with this bundle’s FREE Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

I used a piece of of designer paper from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. Here is a picture of the full paper stack… This paper has so many possibilities and there is also a Daisy Stamp Set/Punch Bundle.

From a piece of Whisper White THICK cardstock, stamp your basket image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. These two products are recommended when using Alcohol Markers like our Stampin’ Blends ®

I have used the following Stampin’ Blends® marker sets for this project.

Calypso Coral Combo Pack

Daffodil  Delight Combo Pack

Old Olive Combo Pack

Crumb Cake Combo Pack

After coloring the image it was die cut out using the Layered Oval Framelits. For the scalloped Daffodil Delight frame in the background I simply cut a scalloped oval and cut it down the center from top to bottom.

Peeking out there on the inside is a stamped basket from Calypso Coral Ink. This finished the card nicely.

Simple Midweek Project ~ Heartfelt Blooms

Welcome back to a Clean and Simple (CAS) Wednesday. Today’s project it so simple in yet it looks so difficult to create.

This stamp set is a new style from Stampin’ Up!® that gives all the depth of light and shadows all with one press of the stamp. The girls at this month’s card class HAD to have this set. This Heartfelt Blooms stamp set is FREE with a $50+ (expires March 31st) Here is the full stamps set below.

For the sentiment I used “Thinking of You” also from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. I used the “Tailored Tag Punch” and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. All the  sentiments from this FREE stamp set fit perfectly in this punch. I also added a few coordinating Tutti Fruiti Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Here is a quick pic of the inside of the card. I just love how beautiful this stamp is and how finished the card feels when I add a little coordinating stamping on the inside.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s midweek post. Check back Friday for a peek of my personal favorite FREE item from this years Sale A Bration Sale. You will not want to miss Friday’s post. Stampin’ Up! ® Sale A Bration ~ Don’t Miss Out!

Hi Friends,

This week I am coming to you with 3 posts each sharing a FREE Sale A Bration (SAB) product. How can you earn FREE products you ask? Simply place an order before March 31st of $50+ or $100+ to have your pick from the freebie choices.

Today’s focus is on “The Beautiful Peacock” stamp set which is FREE with a $50 purchase. I have created two cards using this set. The horizontal card was made for my monthly card buffet class and the stepped up vertical version was created at my March Card Class in my home. interested in classes? Feel free to message me I would love to hear your ideas!

For this simple card all you need along with your stamp set is paper & ink. For the base card I used Pacific Point paper stamped with swirls from The Beautiful Peacock stamp set also using the Pacific Point ink pad. The white panel was really fun to stamp. We started on the left with the sentiment followed by the peacock. Then rather than using the additional peacock stamp for the feathers we created fancy feathers using the flourishes in the set. Everyone in class loved the small floral stamps and wanted to stamp them on all their projects.

For this more detailed design we did two step stamping using both peacock stamps. Then we layered them using the layered circle framelits and the starburst punch. They coordinate so nicely together don’t they? With the extra stamping in the background followed by the extra layer using the Petal Paired embossing folder set this card is full of dimension.

I hope you have enjoyed todays samples. Check back Wednesday for a CAS design for midweek. If I have inspired you and you would like to get your FREE Peacock stamps set feel free to use this months hostess code when checking out. FCNV6MBW, thank you for stopping by and I hope to hear from you soon!

Stampin Up

The Mystical Castle Shaped Card

Hello Lovelies,

Last but not least I am here to share the castle shaped card I made with the Magical Day Bundle by Stampin’ Up!® This is a 5.5 x 5.5″ card base and the pieces for the castle are made from Basic Grey & Smoky Slate papers. The Brick embossing folder by Stampin’ Up!® was also used before attaching the pieces to the card.

The stamps and dies came from the Magical Day Stamp set and I have colored them using the Stampin’ Blends® Alcohol Markers. Have you tried our Alcohol markers yet??? They are so fun to use. Here are some close up photos.

Look at these light to dark shadows. When working with Stampin’ Blends® you want to slowly build up your color. I was able to meet and speak to the artist who designed this stamp set when in Salt Lake City and I suggested he add to this collection because we need a prince and princess!!!

Finally for the windows I used the Home Sweet Home thinlits. They worked perfectly for the windows and door. The Myth Glimmer Pad was also used for the windows.

Isn’t the dragon AWESOME???? Love love love!!!!!! I hope you have enjoyed this weeks trio of projects as much as I enjoyed creating them. Happy Stampin’® Melanie

She even added a little Wink of Stella to the mermaids tail after coloring with her markers. Thank you for sharing this card with all of us Michelle.
